The counterfeit items include the following brands: Burberry, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Deputies said they were able to seize over 1,200 counterfeit items, including cellphone cases, watchbands, earbuds and numerous other items, which collectively were valued at over $32,000. Detectives obtained affidavits from several of the name-brand companies regarding the confirmation of the counterfeit items seized by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, according to deputies. Felony charges are expected to be filed with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The fast-casual chain will offer both indoor and outdoor dining, along with a walk-up window for to-go orders. The new location will also utilize the new Shake Track digital preordering service as well. Shake Shack features burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, crinkle-cut french fries and milkshakes. This marks the fifth Houston-area location, with others in the Galleria, Rice Village, Montrose and downtown areas.

An Amazon 4-Star store is set to open at The Woodlands Mall at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive, though an opening date has not been set. Amazon 4-Star gives patrons as chance to try out Amazon devices and discover books, electronics, toys, games, smart home products, and more, according to Amazons announcement on its website. Explore books: Amazon says it selects books based on Amazon.com customer ratings, pre-orders, sales, popularity on Goodreads, and curators assessments. Amazon previously held a pop-up shop at The Woodlands Mall in 2016.

The statement threatened to fine businesses for not opening or closing early amid the COVID-19 crisis. The mall traffic is nowhere close where we have seen the past couple years, said Abdur Rehmann, the owner of Mobile Outfitters, which has been operating at The Woodlands Mall for seven years. Rehmann said because of coronavirus traffic as The Woodlands Mall has decreased by 80%. The memo levied a $50 per hour fine for businesses that reduce hours or did not operate within the malls business hours.
