The University of Houston men's basketball team has cracked the Top 10 for the first time since the Phi Slama Jama days in the 1980s.
The Associated Press released its updated Top 25 rankings Monday and the Cougars jumped to No. 9, thanks to this weekend's win over Cincinnati.
The Coogs (23-1) moved up three spots.
Houston has seven games remaining before the American Athletic Conference tournament. U of H plays at Connecticut Thursday night.
Here's the top 25 teams in The Associated Press' college basketball poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Feb. 10, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote and last week's ranking:
