SEATTLE – The Houston Dynamo were eliminated from the MLS playoffs after a 3-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders in the second leg of the Western Conference Final on Thursday.
The Sounders opened the scoring with a 22nd-minute goal by Victor Rodriguez, giving Seattle a 3-0 aggregate score lead in the matchup.

Houston's Eric Alexander was issued a yellow card in the 29th minute. Seattle's Nouhou Tolo was also yellow-carded in the 36th minute.
Sounders' Clint Dempsey doubled Seattle's lead with a 57th minute sliding goal. With the tally, the Sounders took a 4-0 aggregate lead with just over 30 minutes to play.
Houston's Boniek Garcia was issued a yellow card in the 60th minute and Tomas Martinez was issued a red card in the 66th minute, leaving the Dynamo with 10 men on the field.
Sounders' Joevin Jones was issued a 67th-minute yellow.
Will Bruin scored in the 73rd minute to give Seattle a 3-0 lead in the game and a 5-0 aggregate lead.
Houston's Erick Torres was issued a yellow card in the 80th minute.
