Man hits head on pavement after being struck during argument in Aldine area; dies at hospital

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are at a scene where a man was critically injured and later died after being struck by another man during an argument, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement.

The incident happened in the 15100 block of Willis Street in the Aldine area.

The sheriff’s office said deputies learned two men had been involved in an argument at the location when one of the men reportedly struck the other. The man who was struck fell and hit his head on the pavement.

Authorities say the injured man was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says the man was later pronounced dead.

An investigation is ongoing.
