Hazmat spill causes lane closures on 610 East Loop southbound at I-10

HOUSTON – A hazmat spill snarled traffic Thursday afternoon on the 610 East Loop, according to Houston TranStar.

The crash was reported at 2:07 p.m. and involved two vehicles, including a heavy truck carrying a load.

Several southbound lanes were closed on the East Loop at I-10 East.

Drivers should expect delays as crews work to clear debris and the spill from the roadway.
