WILLIS, Texas – Residents affected by a boil water notice in the City of Willis can pick up free bottled water today at a distribution site operated at the North Montgomery County Community Center, Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough said.
The site, located at 600 Gerald Street, opens at 1 p.m. and will remain available until 5 p.m. Officials said there is plenty of water for City of Willis residents and other Willis water users.
Residents should follow a designated traffic pattern to help avoid disrupting buses and car riders at nearby schools. Drivers should enter from the I-45 feeder, turn right onto Lincoln Ridge and then turn left into the community center parking lot. Vehicles should exit using the same route.
