Detectives later identified the suspect as Jonathan Cranfill, who was taken into custody and charged with sexual assault of a child.
Officials confirmed that Cranfill is currently employed as a school bus driver for Cleveland ISD and previously worked as a bus driver for Conroe ISD.
Investigators said the reported sexual assault is not connected to his current or former employment.
Cranfill is being held at the Montgomery County Jail. The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing, and no additional details will be released at this time.
