Texas General and Special Elections: Where to find your polling locations, sample ballots county by county

HOUSTON – Texas general and special elections is Nov. 4, and now is the time to make sure you’re familiar with your county’s polling locations and ballots.
This year’s election includes 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, a special election for Texas’s 18th Congressional District, and several local contests across the Houston area, including a Houston City Council At-Large Position 4 seat and numerous school board races in Harris and surrounding counties.
Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, with early voting held Oct. 20–31.
You will need to make sure you bring one of the seven approved forms of ID with you, like a driver’s license or passport.
