Pursel is believed to be responsible for the destruction inflicted at an Exxon gas station and convenience store located at 3308 Bayport Blvd.

He is accused of shooting ball bearings at the business on at least 15 separate occasions over the last several months.

The Exxon station sustained multiple damages, including shattered windows, damaged gas pumps, and destruction of the awning covering the pumps. In one incident, a customer was even struck by one of the ball bearings.

The suspect was identified after being arrested for an unrelated traffic violation that led officers to search his home and vehicle. Those searches revealed evidence of Pursel’s alleged involvement.

Pursel has been charged with felony criminal mischief, along with possession of a controlled substance, through the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
