HOUSTON – It’s official: Kendrick Lamar and SZA are teaming up for the Grand National Tour, a stadium-shaking event set to light up 19 cities across North America in 2025.

The announcement dropped Tuesday morning, sending fans into a frenzy as they prepare for a year packed with major moments in music—and Houston is right in the mix.

Kendrick Lamar: From GNX to the Super Bowl Stage

Fresh off the release of his latest album GNX, which features SZA on two standout tracks, “Luther” and “Gloria,” Lamar is riding a wave of critical and commercial success.

With AP calling the album “a masterclass in pride, self-righteous anger, and supreme confidence,” it’s clear that Kendrick’s creative energy is at an all-time high.

Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album continues to break records, with its lead single “Squabble Up” debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, while four other tracks—“TV Off,” “Luther,” “Wacced Out Murals,” and “Hey Now”—claim the 2nd through 5th spots, Billboard announced Monday.

Adding even more heat to the excitement, Lamar is also set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.

But Houston fans won’t have to wait until April 27, when the Grand National Tour rolls into town, for their next dose of superstar energy.

Queen Bey herself is set to deliver a special halftime performance at the Texans vs. Ravens game on Christmas Day.

Dynamic duo: SZA and Kendrick take over stadiums

With Lamar and SZA scheduled to bring their dynamic partnership to the Bayou City just months later, Houston is shaping up to be the epicenter of next year’s entertainment scene.

Other tour stops include Arlington, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Toronto, but you already know everything’s bigger—and better—in Texas.

Tickets for the Grand National Tour go on sale this Friday, with a pre-sale exclusively for Cash App and Visa Cardholders starting Thursday.
