However, the team’s operations had a loss of $20.2 million, which includes ticket sales, merchandise sales, and season passes, according to Forbes. The departure of DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt, both of which have gone to Arizona, also brought down the team’s value.

The top ranked team of all: The Dallas Cowboys, with a value of $6.5 billion and an operating income of $280.4 million, which also includes advertising and sponsorship revenue. Forbes had ranked the Cowboys No. 1 for the past 15 years.

Other most valuable NFL teams include Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were crowned Super Bowl champions this year. Although they rank 21st, their value increased drastically with a bump in ticket and merchandise sales due to their victory.

The New England Patriots, New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and the Washington Football Team all round up the top 5 most valuable teams, Forbes reported.
