Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is now reopened in Katy after having to close doors after March opening

HOUSTON – Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is now reopened.

The indoor go-kart and gaming center located in Katy first opened on March 3 before being forced to close due to the coronavirus just two weeks later.

On May 26, Managing Partner Eddie Hamann announced Andretti would welcome back racers the following day and laid out guidelines for a safe reopening.

During the business closure, new equipment was installed to help protect the health of returning guests, including a new UVC light box that can sanitize up to 24 helmets every minute.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is also providing gloves and masks for guests to wear during their visit.

Attractions will operate at half capacity to help maintain social distancing.

Every other arcade game is unavailable and every machine will be sanitized between players.

The space includes an indoor go-kart racing on a three-level track, arcade games, two-level laser tag, mini-golf and virtual reality games.

The location features a food truck plaza with three dining options. There is also a full restaurant dining and a full-service bar inside.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is located at 1230 Grand West Blvd. off of I-10 and Grand Parkway.
