Building hope in our own backyard: KPRC 2’s annual Habitat for Humanity build takes over station’s parking lot

HOUSTON, Texas – It’s Thursday, and the buzz of hammers and the clinking of hard hats has descended upon the parking lot of KPRC 2. Yes, you heard it right!

Volunteers are gearing up for a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground adventure as they unite to construct walls for another Habitat for Humanity home.

The KPRC 2 news team is diving headfirst into the action, eager to lend their support in building walls for a family’s new Habitat home.

This marks the 12th year of our fantastic partnership with Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to creating homes for local families in need.
