Do-it-yourself shopping tips to save at IKEA

HOUSTON – Whether a shopper is looking for a new bookcase or a new kitchen, there are plenty of ways to save at IKEA.

According to RatherBeShopping.com, there are three ways to get coupons at IKEA. Anyone who has recently moved can fill out a form on IKEA's website, and net a coupon for $25 off a $250 purchase.

Shoppers can also sign up for the company's email list, and they'll occasionally send out coupons. And finally, consumers can join the IKEA family plan. Members get discounts in the store every day, like a free cup of coffee from the café, buy one, get one free yogurt cones and 30 minutes of extra playtime for kids at the play zone.

There are also plenty of ways to save on time. By shopping online, consumers can check inventory at a local store and even see the exact location of the items in the warehouse. IKEA also offers delivery services, for anyone who doesn’t feel like going to the store themselves. Same day or next day service costs $59.
